Mr. Coopers PunishmentMumford and Brown are caught red-handed while stealing money from the church collection box. Mr. Cooper sends the girls to the school study and notices that they broke a large church window to get access to the box. They are asked to wait outside the study while Mr. Cooper calls the vicar.He is hopeful that this matter will not be brought to the attention of the police, thus staining the reputation of the school. He assures the vicar that the window will be replaced and that these girls will be punished. When this is agreed to the girls are brought into the study for corporal punishment which is administered by Mr. Cooper. The high standards of Mrs. McClusky are maintained and exceeded to assure that these girls will not be repeat offenders.
